Do I have to be a certain age to sign up and use Contra?
Contra is available to users 16 and older. By signing up for Contra, you acknowledge that you’re at least 16 years old.
What should I do after I sign up?
To get started, fill in your profile details. Then, start hiring: you can post public or private jobs for free, browse contractors to find the perfect talent for your project, and invite your teammates to collaborate.
How long does it take to set up my profile?
We’ve designed our onboarding flow to get you up and running fast. Just answer basic questions about your company (like name, description, and location) and verify your email. Then, you’ll be ready to post jobs for free or browse our incredible talent so you can quickly find the right contractor for your project.
How do I change the email associated with my account?
To change your email:
Go to your "Account Settings" page
Update the email in the Email field
Click "Save Changes"
Go to your email inbox
Click the link to update your email address associated with your Contra account
How do I delete my account?
So long! We’d love to hear why you’re leaving. Would you be willing to tell us more about how Contra can better support you? Drop us a line and we’d love to chat.
To permanently delete your account:
Go to your "Account Settings"
Click "Delete Account," and at the bottom of the page
Click "Permanently Delete Account"
You have 30 days before your account is permanently deleted if you decide to change your mind.
